The North American School of Podology (NASP) is an education-driven institution built on more than 40 years of excellence in advanced foot-care education throughout North America and internationally. NASP is dedicated to elevating professional standards in pedicuring by providing specialized, evidence-informed education for pedicurists, nail technicians, aestheticians, cosmetologists, and foot-care nurses.
NASP focuses on the real foot conditions professionals encounter in practice and provides practical methods of assessment, management, and referral within scope-appropriate care. Our programs bridge the gap between cosmetic pedicuring and medical foot care—offering education that is more than a pedicure, yet less than a podiatric treatment. This approach allows practitioners to safely expand their knowledge, confidence, and professional credibility while improving client outcomes.
The mission of NASP is to improve the quality and safety of pedicures in North America—one foot at a time. Our objective is to educate, elevate, and differentiate technicians from basic pedicure services to comprehensive total pedi-care. Through advanced training, hands-on workshops, and professional designations, NASP equips graduates with the tools to stand out in an increasingly competitive industry.
NASP’s flagship Certified Master Pedicurist (CMP)® program is designed to establish an industry benchmark for advanced pedicuring. Graduates gain training in sanitation, infection control, electric file use, specialized implements, and best practices for working with senior, diabetic, and at-risk clients. Emphasis is placed on the Three R’s of professional foot care: Recognize, Recommend, Refer.
By completing NASP programs, professionals gain recognized credentials, increased client trust, and the ability to deliver higher-value services with confidence and integrity.
